Urban Nirvana

I always get really excited about posting new projects right after I finish shooting them. Unfortunately, most of the time, I have to wait for the project to be completed before I can share the images and then it takes me FOREVER to post them. Sorry…
In May, I had the chance to shoot for Urban Nirvana Spa and Salon. They have locations throughout SC, and were needing some advertising images to promote their salon. I spent all day at their Columbia location shooting, and we got some AMAZING stuff. The stylists and models we super laid back and very talented at doing their thing.
We shot for several different types of ads, one being billboards. This was probably what I was most excited about seeing, since it would be my first as a photographer. I distinctly remember the moment I was driving down the road and there it was, one of my images, larger than life. What a great feeling!
Anyway, enough rambling, here are the three billboards. They are in the rotation on the giant LED billboard off of Woodruff Road near The Shops at Greenridge (for all you Greenville citizens).

Help-Portrait

I made a lame/half-hearted attempt to give away portrait sessions last year around the holidays. I got the word out late and didn’t do a very good job of presenting it.
I’m excited this year to be a part of Help-Portrait. I would love to meet up with other photographers in the area and figure out a good space to do this. If you are interested, please contact me so that we can get the ball rolling and get things organized.
