Fact. I always have a camera with me. (most of the time, I have 3!)

And I’m not talking about when I am working (as matter of fact I have 3 different cameras I carry when doing a professional shoot). So there’s a chance I could be wielding six (6!) cameras at any given time. Ok, so maybe I have a problem.

I guess I am paranoid that I will be crippled without one if some spectacular “Kodak Moment” were to happen. Anyway, my intention was not to turn this into a therapy session for paranoia or addiction, so moving on……

One of my favorite cameras is a German “spy” camera called the Minox 35.

Here’s mine (shot with a Yashica T4, which is my newest addition to the arsenal) beautifully displayed on a table at McDonald’s.

This camera is TINY and it takes wonderful photos on 35mm film (Yes I shoot film).
It has an amazing lens (the same one that’s in a LOMO) that retracts in and out of the camera body when you open or close the drawbridge like door.

I am in love with this camera.

Here’s a shot I took of our friends’ daughter at a swim meet. The Minox was all I had, and man did it rise to the occasion!

This is my favorite shot I’ve taken in a long time. I’ve got to shoot film more often.
